Warranty and Your Rights

Warranty
Your Rights if Your Furniture Is Faulty

What is covered, how UK consumer law protects you and how to make a claim for your table or chairs.

Report a ProblemRegister a Product

Your furniture comes with legal protection under UK law, and some products also come with a manufacturer guarantee. This page explains what that means in plain English.

Your Statutory Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods you buy from us must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. These rights apply automatically and are in addition to anything else on this page.

First 30 Days

If goods are faulty, you can reject them and ask for a full refund.

Up to 6 Months

A fault is presumed to have been there from the start unless we can show otherwise. You can ask for a repair or replacement, then a price reduction or refund if that fails.

Up to 6 Years

You may still have a remedy for up to six years in England and Wales (five in Scotland), but you may need to show the fault was there at delivery.

Manufacturer's Guarantee

Some items include a guarantee from the manufacturer. Where one applies, its length and terms are stated on the product page or in the paperwork supplied with the item. If a product page does not mention a guarantee, please assume only your statutory rights apply. You can register your product to keep your purchase details on file.

  2. Include your order number, a description of the problem and clear photos.
