Official Coffee Tables started with one product type: the coffee table. A good round coffee table or oak coffee table can anchor a whole living room, yet shoppers kept telling us the same thing. Product pages were vague, sizes were hard to compare and it was impossible to know what the top was really made from.
So we set out to do it differently. Every product we list gets a size table, a plain description of its materials and honest notes on what is and is not included. As customers asked for matching pieces, the shop grew. First came side tables, then dining tables, dining table and chairs sets and dining chairs.
What We Believe
Furniture should suit the room it goes into, not the other way round. A small coffee table in a compact flat deserves the same care in its description as a large dining table for a family kitchen. We believe in three simple principles:

We do not make furniture ourselves. We select pieces from established manufacturers and suppliers, and we describe them using the specifications those suppliers provide. How Our Catalogue Has Grown
Our range grew in the order our customers needed it. Living rooms came first, with marble coffee tables, oak coffee tables and oval coffee tables. Next came the pieces that sit beside them, such as oak side tables, round side tables and small side tables. Then the dining room followed, with round dining tables, extendable dining tables and chairs in velvet, faux leather and wood. We keep adding styles when we see a gap in what shoppers can easily find.
