Using the Website

You may browse the site and place orders for your own personal use. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to interfere with its operation or use it for any unlawful purpose. Content on the site, including text, images and design, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Products and Descriptions

We take care to describe products accurately, including sizes, materials and what is included. Colours can look different on different screens, and wood grain and marble-effect patterns vary from piece to piece. Sizes are measured by the manufacturer and may vary slightly. Product images may show items that are not included in the price, such as chairs shown with a table. The title and size table on each product page say what is included. See our materials and construction and table size guide pages.

Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. We aim to keep prices accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover an obvious error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will contact you, and you may cancel the order or confirm it at the correct price. Any delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.

Orders and Contract

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We email an order confirmation, but the contract is formed when we dispatch your goods or confirm dispatch by email. We may decline an order if an item is unavailable, if we cannot verify your details or if there is a pricing error. If we cannot supply an item, we will tell you and refund any payment made.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout by the methods offered there. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, and we do not see or store your full card details.

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed dates. See our shipping and delivery page. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered, and ownership passes to you when we have received full payment.

Cancellation and Returns

You may cancel and return most items under our returns and refunds policy, including your 14 day right to cancel for online purchases.

Faulty or Misdescribed Goods

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including to a refund, repair or replacement. See warranty and your rights. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Assembly and Safe Use

Much of our furniture needs assembly. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, use the correct fixings and ask for help with heavy items. Do not exceed any weight limit stated on the product page, and do not stand on tables or chairs. Keep small parts away from children. See the furniture care guide.

Our Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these terms or by our negligence. We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses where you buy for business use, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place your order is the one that applies to it.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
